St. Margaret of Scotland School is proud of our Catholic identity and the values that we instill in each of our students. Our faith-based, Christ-centered community focuses on the moral development of our students. We help our children grow in their faith and learn the importance of being good to one another. We believe that our role is to partner with parents to build character and instill integrity in EVERY student. This is crucial for laying the moral and ethical foundation our children need to deepen and live out their faith into adulthood.
Our faith is an important part of who we are, but we gladly accept students of all faiths. In fact, over 90% of our student body is not Catholic, but are members of the Christian community. We believe that this enhances the school community and we value a diversity of beliefs. It is through this community of faith that we are able to work together in sharing mission to build and spread the good news of God’s kingdom here on earth.
Our pastor, Fr. Whittington, works closely with Mr. Powers and the teachers to foster a sense of community and mutual care among our students and families.
