Choosing a Catholic education is an investment in your child’s future. At St. Margaret of Scotland School, we will work together with your family to make the dream of Catholic education a reality for your child.

Tuition Packet

We are excited to announce that registration for the 2022-2023 school year is open! This packet has all the information you need about registering your child for next school year. All materials must be completed and the registration fee must be paid for your child to be officially registered. Due to the current global pandemic and economy, we are keeping our current tuition fee schedule.

Payment Options

Every family must register with FACTS, which is our tuition management program. Families have the option of paying online, over the phone, invoicing or in the school office.

The school office only accepts credit cards or money orders. Cash and personal checks are not accepted. There is a 2.75% service fee on all credit card purchases.

Monthly payments can be broken up into 10, 11, or 12 installments.

  • 12-month payments will start on June 6, 2022 and end on May 5, 2023

  • 11-month payments will start on July 6, 2022 and end on May 5, 2023

  • 10-month payments will start on August 5, 2021 and end on May 5, 2023

$65.00 enrollment fee/$30.00 application fee

8th Grade Graduation Fee

$300.00 per 8th grade student (non-refundable)

Tuition Late Fee

$50.00 (Late fees CANNOT be waived)


Discounts Available

Discounts Available:

New Family Referral: $400.00

We are looking for new families and students to join our school community. If you refer a family, and the family registers and starts the school year with us, you will receive a $400.00 credit towards your tuition. Referral fees will not be applied until mid-October. There is no limit on this discount. You will receive a $400.00 credit for every family you refer.

Paid in Full Discount

Tuition paid in full by July 5, 2022 will receive 15% off total tuition

Tuition pain in full by September 1, 2022 will receive 10% off total tuition


Financial Aid:

St. Margaret of Scotland is strongly committed to making our quality, rigorous, Catholic education affordable and accessible. We work closely with families to help provide financial assistance to those families in need. Please see the “Financial Aid Overview” about how to apply for financial aid.

Financial Obligations

All families must stay up to date with all financial obligations owed to St. Margaret of Scotland School. If families are unable to make their financial obligations, families will not be allowed to attend class until all financial obligations are met.

Tuition Payments

Tuition payments are due on a monthly basis, on the 1st or 15th or 20th of every moth. We offer a 10, 11, and 12 month payment plans for each family. Payments must be made on time or there is a $50 late fee. St. Margaret of Scotland School uses FACTS to manage our tuition collection. Families have the option of paying over the phone, online or invoice with FACTS

Tuition Assistance

St. Margaret of Scotland School mission is to provide an excellent, valuable education for students of all ethnic, religious and economic backgrounds. At St. Margaret of Scotland School, we are committed to welcoming all families, including those who cannot afford to pay the full tuition. To support this vital mission, we work very closely with the Archdiocese of Chicago and Big Shoulders Fund to help those families in financial need apply for financial aid and scholarships.

Illinois Action for Children

St. Margaret of Scotland School is a listed provider for the Illinois Action for Children (Daycare Action).

  • Preschool and Kindergarten children are eligible until the age of 6.

  • Children ages 7 to 13 are eligible for before and after school care.
